Possible problem with path to archive file

I ran into this problem today and found that it did not archive emails when given a full path (on RedHat Linux it was /home/username/lotus/notes/data/archive_username.nsf) but when it was just given the filename it worked fine (just put in archive_username.nsf).

It seems like Notes should not proceed with a deletion if the archiving failed? I guess it does it all in a batch and reports at the end, but maybe it should go document-by-document when the agent runs. I leave solutioning to more developer-minded people!
